Coleen Rooney is enjoying a kid-free getaway in Ibiza with husband Wayne Rooney and a group of close friends, just days after her former rival Rebekah Vardy found herself back in the spotlight over her heavily criticised new TV show.
The I’m A Celeb star looked relaxed and radiant on Playa d’en Bossa beach, wearing a colourful pink and blue bikini that showed off her glowing tan and holiday confidence. She paired the look with a matching mini skirt and a loose pink shirt before heading into the sea with her girlfriends.
Wayne Rooney also embraced the holiday mood, stepping out in a bold zig-zag print shirt, clashing shorts, a baseball cap and sunglasses. The former footballer was seen chatting with friends on the sand while Coleen made the most of some rare time away from the couple’s four sons — Kai, Klay, Kit and Cass.
The Rooneys’ sunny escape comes as Rebekah Vardy made headlines with a new Instagram statement, saying she was ready to “take back” her voice after years of letting others define her story.
However, Rebekah’s return to television has not gone as planned. Her new ITV reality show has been slammed by viewers and critics, with some calling it dull, disappointing and lacking fresh revelations.
In the series, Rebekah once again insists she will not apologise to Coleen over the infamous “Wagatha Christie” case, maintaining that she did nothing wrong. The legal battle ended in Coleen’s favour, leaving Rebekah facing a huge legal bill.
While Rebekah continues to speak out about the past, Coleen appears to be choosing silence and sunshine instead. Her carefree beach appearance in Ibiza has left many fans thinking her strongest response is simple: live well, stay calm, and avoid being dragged back into old drama.
