I’m a Celebrity star Beverley Callard has shared an emotional health update with her fans, revealing “great news” after receiving encouraging test results in her ongoing battle with breast cancer. The 69-year-old actress took to Instagram to explain that one of the lymph nodes tested for cancer aggression showed low levels, which means she is now cleared to begin radiotherapy.

One of the lymph nodes that they’d sent over for testing to see how aggressive the cancer would be, it’s on low numbers which is really good. That means I can begin the radiotherapy very soon, which I’m pleased about.”

The health update comes after a tough period for Beverley, who had to drop out of this year’s I’m A Celebrity due to her health. She had experienced what was described as a “funny turn” while on the programme, and four months later, she was diagnosed with breast cancer.
