Adam Thomas Shares Sweet Family Moment While Subtly Addressing I’m A Celebrity Drama
Adam Thomas, crowned the latest I’m A Celebrity Jungle Legend, has taken to social media to share a heartwarming family update, following the chaotic fallout that marred his win. The Waterloo Road star, who found himself embroiled in drama with Jimmy Bullard and David Haye during the show, appeared to take a subtle swipe at the tension-filled finale.
Though the live event should have been a triumphant moment, Adam was seen throwing his crown to the floor in a symbolic gesture, later revealing that “crowns don’t really matter.” He now reflects on the real meaning of victory, focusing on the happiness of his family.
In a recent Instagram post, Adam proudly celebrated his son Teddy’s success in dance competitions, sharing a touching moment of fatherly pride. “My boy came home this weekend with four trophies from his dance comps!! But honestly, it wasn’t even about the trophies… it was his face. Just pure happiness, proper proud of himself,” Adam wrote. He continued, “That’s what winning should feel like, super proud of the boy.”
Adding a personal note, Adam shared his newfound perspective: “One thing I’ve learnt though is as you get older you start to realise, it’s not about trophies or crowns, none of that really matters. I already won a long time ago. Everything I need is right here.”
Adam’s words come just days after the live final, where the I’m A Celeb winner appeared visibly despondent. The intense fallout during the competition, including accusations of bullying and heated exchanges, cast a shadow over his crowning moment. Fellow campmate Scarlett Moffatt showed her support for Adam’s son Teddy, praising his achievements with a heartfelt comment, while Gemma Collins liked the post.
Ashley Roberts, who witnessed the emotional turmoil in the jungle, also voiced her disappointment about how the situation played out. On Heart FM, she explained, “It was unhinged. I felt like I was on The Jerry Springer Show… It’s a shame because Adam did become the Legend, and I don’t think he was even able to enjoy it because of all the drama that went on.”
Despite the stormy atmosphere, Adam’s focus now is on the joy of his family and the lessons he’s learned from the experience, putting the real meaning of success into perspective.
