Kerry Katona Shares Worrying Health Update After Hospital Dash for Stroke Fears 😔

Inspiration Awards For Women 2024 – ArrivalsKerry Katona, 45, has shared a worrying health update after being rushed to the hospital with fears she was suffering from a stroke. The Atomic Kitten singer revealed that she has been experiencing speech difficulties and facial changes following the terrifying incident, which occurred while she was attending her daughter Molly’s play in London.

While enjoying the performance, Kerry started feeling unwell and, as her daughter Heidi noticed her face didn’t look “right,” the situation quickly escalated. In her Instagram post, Kerry shared, “We honestly can’t believe we’re writing this… After everything, we feel unbelievably lucky to be able to say… our family is growing. One little miracle gave us Jude, and now he’s going to be a big brother.” This moment of joy, however, came amidst the frightening uncertainty of her health.

Kerry was then rushed to the hospital, where doctors initially feared she might be experiencing a stroke. “They were shining lights in my eyes while my face and speech were getting worse,” she recalled. “An hour ago, I was watching our Molly in a play, and now I’m being treated for a stroke. What the actual f**k? It just shows how quickly things can change.”

A Sigh of Relief But Lingering Anxiety

However, Kerry was told that the episode was likely caused by “delayed stress” — a consequence of finally reaching a place of peace after years of turmoil. Despite the relief that the stroke was not the cause, Kerry shared that she’s still dealing with the aftereffects, particularly the speech and facial changes, which come and go.

Her anxiety has been heightened by the experience, and she expressed her struggles with her health anxiety. “It’s awful for my family, I think they’re all fed up and sick of me at this point,” she admitted. Kerry’s ongoing health concerns have left her feeling vulnerable, and she confessed to being her “worst hypochondriac.”
