Peter Andre is back in the music spotlight after 11 years with his latest album, Legacy. The album, which celebrates 30 years since his iconic hit “Mysterious Girl,” marks his continued journey to secure his fourth No.1 single.
Speaking exclusively to the Daily Mail, Peter, 53, revealed that his mission isn’t stopping with Legacy. “I won’t stop, whether it’s this album, the next one, or the one after that. I won’t stop until I get a No.1 now because that’s my goal,” he said with unwavering determination. His new singles, including Rock You Right and All About Us 2.0, are already making waves.
A noteworthy potential collaboration may soon be on the horizon: a father-son musical partnership. His eldest son, Junior, 20, who has already made waves in the music industry with two No.1 hits, may join forces with Peter on future tracks. “When he’s ready. He’s brilliant,” Peter said, hinting at the possibility.
Junior, who first gained attention with his debut single Slide in 2022, has been making waves, with his music topping the UK’s iTunes pop chart. Peter’s pride for his son’s success is evident, sharing advice from when Junior started recording at age 15: “You have to be a songwriter. It’s like learning a trade,” Peter explained. “And now he’s written over 200 songs. He’s incredible.”
Peter’s own album Legacy features reworked versions of his classic hits and collaborations with big names like Montell Jordan, Brian McKnight, and Lady Leshurr. The album is not just for long-time fans but is designed to resonate with all generations, as evidenced by his daughter Millie’s enthusiasm for the updated version of Flava, a 1996 hit.
Though Peter’s two eldest children, Princess and Junior, have long been in the public eye thanks to his reality shows with ex-wife Katie Price, his three children with current wife Emily, Millie, Theo, and Arabella, remain private. However, Peter hinted that might soon change, with plans for a family podcast or YouTube channel as Millie grows older.
For now, Peter is focusing on his new music and the upcoming Legacy tour. “I haven’t done my own tour in ten years. I’m so excited for it,” he shared. Legacy is available for purchase, download, and streaming now, and Peter is already looking ahead to singing his hits live for fans once again.
