Loose Women and Lorraine Make Triumphant Return to ITV After Major Shake-Up!

Loose Women and Lorraine’s Return Finally Confirmed Amid ITV Daytime Shake-Up

Fans of Loose Women and Lorraine can finally breathe a sigh of relief as both iconic ITV daytime shows are confirmed to return after a brief hiatus, which had left viewers anxious about their future amid significant cuts at ITV.Four women sitting at a clear desk with "Loose Women" on the screen behind them.

The shows had been pulled off air as part of ITV’s decision to air them “seasonally,” causing concern as the month of April drew to a close with no sign of their return on the schedules. However, The Sun can now confirm the following dates:

  • Loose Women will make its return from the spring break on April 27 at 1:30 PM.
  • Lorraine will follow suit the following week, returning on May 4 at 9:30 AM.Lorraine Kelly sitting on a cream chair on the set of the 'Lorraine' TV show.

This return comes after some significant changes in the ITV daytime line-up. The shows will now air “seasonally,” meaning just 30 weeks a year, with more than 100 episodes cut from their usual broadcast schedule. The changes were part of sweeping cuts across ITV that saw some shows reduced or altered.Coleen Nolan speaking on the TV show 'Loose Women'.

The first group of Loose Women panellists back on the show will include Christine Lampard, Coleen Nolan, Nadia Sawalha, and Jane Moore. The reduced airing schedule has also affected Lorraine Kelly’s show, with the iconic host’s programme cut from an hour to just 30 minutes during its seasonal run.

Lorraine Kelly’s show, a staple for fans, has also undergone major shifts. Lorraine shared an update on her hiatus earlier this year, revealing that she would only be on air for 30 weeks a year. She took to social media to thank her loyal viewers, saying, “I want to thank you for sticking with me through all the changes and I hope to see you when I’m back on air. I never take it for granted.”Lorraine Kelly on the "Lorraine" TV show.

The shake-up also saw Good Morning Britain extended during the break, and This Morning continued its usual 10 AM slot. These changes have hit Lorraine especially hard, according to a source. “She’s suddenly found herself with a lot more time on her hands,” the insider revealed. “For a workhorse like Lorraine, it’s been a significant adjustment, especially with the new hubbed production team that works across her show, This Morning, and Loose Women.”

Despite these changes, ITV fans can now rest easy, knowing that their beloved daytime favourites are back – with some adjustments, but certainly still offering the same cherished personalities.
