Pregnant actress Nikki Sanderson has bravely shared the heartbreaking online trolling she’s faced since announcing her pregnancy at 41. The Coronation Street star, expecting a baby boy with partner Anthony Quinlan, revealed the distressing abuse she’s received, including cruel comments about her age and health.
Nikki, who made the joyous announcement in December, explained that some trolls have targeted her, calling her “selfish” for having a child later in life. She said, “It’s clearly not selfish for him! We’re both in our 40s, but somehow it’s targeted at me, the female in the dynamic.”
The online cruelty escalated when people suggested it would be her fault if the baby faced any health issues, a remark Nikki described as “so hurtful.” Despite the negativity, Nikki remains determined to focus on the excitement of her pregnancy, supported by Anthony, who has stood by her through the emotional turmoil.
The couple, who have been together since 2022, are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby boy in spring 2026. Nikki remains positive, saying, “We’re so happy to be having a baby, and we can’t wait to meet our little one.”
