At 69, the beloved actress, who recently relocated to Ireland to film Fair City, was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and underwent surgery in March. Despite the uncertainty and anxiety of waiting for her results, Beverley is determined to stay strong. She explained that she expected to receive her results via phone call but was instead asked to attend a consultation with a new doctor this Thursday.
Beverley, who is also competing on I’m A Celebrity…South Africa, opened up about her feelings of confusion and worry, saying, “I’m trying to be brave and strong, but it’s been a bit of a weird update. I was expecting a phone call, but now I have to go in for a consultation.”
