Olivia Attwood Breaks Down Over Split From Bradley Dack: “I Cried So Much I Thought I Might Pass Out”
Reality TV star Olivia Attwood has opened up about the devastating emotional toll of her split from footballer Bradley Dack, revealing she cried so intensely during the breakup that she nearly fainted.
The former Love Island contestant admitted the end of the relationship left her shattered — even as she tried to maintain a brave face in public.
Speaking candidly on the Extra Dirrty podcast, Attwood described the breakup as one of the most painful experiences of her life.
“I cried so much during this breakup that I thought I was going to pass out,” she said. “Then I’d slap myself in the face and go to work.”

A Relationship That Ended in Betrayal
Attwood, 34, and Dack, 32, ended their relationship earlier this year after a decade together. The couple, who had long appeared to be one of Britain’s most glamorous reality-TV-and-football pairings, reportedly split in January.
The TV presenter later confirmed that repeated infidelity played a major role in the breakdown of the relationship.
In an emotional statement shared online, she revealed that she had spent years standing by Dack despite multiple betrayals.
“I stood by Brad for ten years,” she wrote. “During that time he lied to me and cheated on me repeatedly.”
Attwood admitted she often tried to protect him, even going so far as to cover up problems in their relationship and arranging therapy in hopes of saving their marriage.
“I believed the apologies. I wanted him to become the best version of himself,” she said.

Love That Hasn’t Completely Faded
Despite the pain, Attwood insisted she does not hate her former partner — a confession that surprised many fans.
“It would honestly be easier if I hated him,” she said. “But I don’t. I still love him as a human being.”
She explained that both of them had made serious efforts to repair the relationship before it finally collapsed.
“When you know you both tried everything to make it work, of course it’s heartbreaking,” she said.

Facing Criticism Online
Adding to the emotional strain, Attwood revealed she has faced harsh online abuse since the split became public.
During a recent trip to New York with friends, she received a disturbing message from a stranger on TikTok wishing harm upon her.
The presenter said the experience highlights the intense scrutiny women often face when their personal lives unfold in the public eye.
Still, she refuses to perform her heartbreak for social media.
“I’m not going to film myself crying on the floor and put it online,” she explained. “I don’t think people would respect me or invite me to host their TV shows if I did that.”

Turning the Page
In recent weeks, Attwood has begun focusing on healing and rebuilding her life.
She shared a quote on Instagram that resonated deeply with her current journey:
“Forgive yourself for not knowing earlier what only time could teach you.”
Friends say the TV personality is determined to move forward — and has even begun dating again after being spotted kissing reality star Pete Wicks.
For Attwood, the end of her decade-long relationship marks not just heartbreak, but the start of a new chapter.
“I’m learning to forgive myself,” she said.
