In an interview that left viewers speechless, Fearne Cotton has finally opened up about the most painful chapter of her life — the end of her 10-year marriage to Jesse Wood and a terrifying health battle that nearly broke her. 
The 43-year-old presenter appeared on ITV’s Lorraine, speaking with raw emotion about the collapse of her marriage to Jesse, the son of Rolling Stones icon Ronnie Wood, and her private struggle with two benign tumours that had to be surgically removed from her jaw just days before news of the split went public.
Fearne had announced her split from Jesse in December, after a decade of marriage, and the public was left stunned. She reflected on the emotional toll, saying, “It’s been such an intense year,” her voice trembling. “But I’m grateful — I’m healthy, and I’m surrounded by people who truly care.” 
But what stunned the nation most was Fearne’s heartbreaking confession — one she had kept hidden for years.
“I will never forgive him and the woman who made him betray me,” she said, tears streaming down her face. “She was my friend… and they did that.” 
Finding Strength After the Pain
Despite everything, Fearne chose grace over anger. She credits her two children, Rex and Honey, for giving her the strength to keep moving forward, and close friend Davina McCall for being her guiding light through her darkest days.
“Everyone needs a Davina,” Fearne smiled. “She was there for me — we even went through similar health scares together. She’s been a rock.”

“I went for what I thought was a minor ultrasound, and it turned out to be a tumour,” she shared. “It became major surgery. But I’m lucky — I’m healthy now. Please, go get those lumps checked.”

After months of heartbreak, Fearne has slowly found happiness again with TV director Elliot Hegarty. The pair were spotted in Soho recently, holding hands and sharing a quiet kiss — a tender glimpse of hope after years of emotional struggle.
Meanwhile, Jesse Wood has reportedly moved on with Gemma Gregory, a former actress now working in wellness — and someone who once collaborated with Fearne on her Happy Place podcast, leaving fans shocked by the connection.

“I’ve missed having fun,” she admitted. “Now, in my 40s, I want to laugh more, love deeper, and live without guilt. Life’s too short to hold back.”
