In a deeply emotional moment, Freddy Brazier, son of the late Jade Goody, has paid a heartfelt tribute to his mother 17 years after her tragic passing. In an interview with The Sun, Freddy, who is preparing to welcome his own daughter with girlfriend Holly Swinburn, revealed that his baby girl’s name is Isla Jade – a touching tribute to his beloved mother, Jade Goody.
Freddy, whose love for Jade is still as strong as ever, shared how difficult Mother’s Day has been for him since Jade’s passing in 2009 from cervical cancer, when Freddy was only four years old. As he anticipates becoming a father himself, Freddy expressed his hopes of creating new, joyful Mother’s Day memories with his daughter, Isla Jade.
To commemorate this meaningful tribute, Freddy also revealed he had a tattoo of his daughter’s name, “Isla Jade,” on the back of his neck. “It’s lovely to incorporate the name Jade into her name,” he said, acknowledging that there will always be a piece of his mother in Isla. Although the tattoo, which he impulsively got before Isla’s birth, was painful, Freddy shared that his girlfriend, Holly, loves it and plans to get a matching one.
As Freddy eagerly awaits the birth of his daughter later this month, he reflects on the excitement of becoming a parent and the close bond he shares with his father, Jeff. “Dad’s very excited. He can’t wait to have the baby at his place and take her for walks in the countryside,” Freddy said. With Isla Jade already having her own room at Jeff’s house and more clothes than Freddy himself, it’s clear that the Brazier family is ready to welcome the newest addition with love and warmth.
Through his emotional tribute and the name of his daughter, Freddy Brazier continues to honor the memory of his late mother, Jade Goody, while looking forward to creating new family memories.
