Freddy Brazier Opens Up About Mother’s Day Struggles and New Chapter Ahead of Becoming a Father

Freddy Brazier has revealed that Mother’s Day is the most challenging time of year for him, as he continues to cope with the loss of his beloved mother, Jade Goody. The 21-year-old influencer shared how he finds solace by visiting his mother’s grave, particularly now, as he prepares to welcome his first child. Jade tragically passed away from cervical cancer on Mother’s Day in 2009, when Freddy was just four years old.Freddy Brazier has said that Mother's Day is 'the hardest time' as he revealed he has been confiding in his late mum Jade Goody at her gravestone about expecting his first child

Reflecting on how he would have spent the day with his mum, Freddy confessed, “I’ve often looked at people out with their mums on Mother’s Day and thought, ‘You’re so lucky… I wish I could have a special day with my mum.'” Despite the pain, Freddy is finding comfort in his own way by confiding in his late mother at her gravestone, sharing the joyous news of becoming a father.

“I told her what was going on with the baby and how I am feeling, but sometimes I struggle talking to a headstone,” Freddy admitted. Although he continues to grieve, he remains hopeful for the future, especially as he prepares for the arrival of his baby daughter in April.

Freddy, who is expecting the child with his pregnant ex, Holly Swinburn, revealed that he is determined to be a great father. After a tumultuous period marked by their breakup and Freddy’s struggles with partying and cannabis use, the couple has rekindled their relationship. The pair, who split in November but reunited in February for Holly’s baby shower, are now stronger than ever. Freddy has even moved back into Holly’s flat, and they were recently spotted enjoying a romantic stroll, celebrating their renewed connection. The influencer, 21, sadly lost his mother Jade when he was just four years old after she died from cervical cancer on Mother's Day in 2009 (Pictured together with his brother Bobby in 2006)

With the baby’s arrival just around the corner, Freddy is dedicated to being the best father he can be. “I’ll be able to make new memories with my baby daughter,” he shared, looking ahead to this new chapter in his life.

However, there have been some concerns about the influence of Freddy’s grandmother, Jackiey Budden, who has been a divisive figure in his life. Sources close to the family have expressed worries about how she may react once the baby arrives. Some insiders suggest that Jackiey’s possessiveness over Freddy could lead to tension in the family dynamic.Freddy is currently expecting his first child with his pregnant ex Holly Swinburn - and he revealed he has been visiting his mum's grave to tell her about becoming a dad (Holly and Freddy pictured in October)

Despite these concerns, Freddy remains focused on his journey toward fatherhood. “He has been focusing on maturing and preparing to be a dad,” a source revealed. “It all feels really positive.”

As Freddy and Holly embark on this new chapter, they remain committed to their growing family and are determined to make it work for the sake of their daughter.
