Australian singer Delta Goodrem has been announced as the third celebrity contestant joining Strictly Come Dancing in 2026.
The 41-year-old star, who recently finished fourth at the Eurovision Song Contest, will swap the microphone for dancing shoes when the BBC competition returns in September.
Confirming the news, Strictly described Delta as an international performer who has conquered some of the world’s biggest stages and is now ready to take on the ballroom.
Delta said she was thrilled to join the show, admitting that despite her long career in music, television and theatre, the dance floor remained one stage she had never experienced.
She joins EastEnders actress Lacey Turner and television personality Dani Dyer in the growing line-up.
Dani is returning after being forced to withdraw from the 2025 series because of a fractured ankle, while Lacey revealed she feels both excited and terrified about learning a new skill.
The new series will also introduce major changes, including a revamped presenting team and several departures among the professional dancers.
