Katie Price has claimed that her husband, Lee Andrews, has been released from a Dubai prison following weeks of legal uncertainty.
The 43-year-old businessman was reportedly detained at Al Awir Central Prison last month amid fraud allegations. Reports suggested that £140,000 was being sought in connection with his release, although the precise circumstances remain unclear.
According to The Sun, Lee contacted Katie by video call shortly after leaving prison. While the former glamour model was said to be relieved to hear from him, she reportedly demanded answers and maintained that she had refused to contribute financially towards his release.
Katie previously said she travelled to Dubai intending to support her husband after initially believing that a much smaller payment was required. She later decided that paying the reported six-figure amount would be irresponsible.
The television personality has faced warnings from relatives and women who previously had relationships with Lee. Her sister Sophie has publicly urged her to reconsider the marriage, while Katie admitted that recent conversations had opened her eyes.
Despite the controversy, Katie has said she will make her own decisions and will not end the relationship without first speaking directly to Lee.
Katie’s representatives declined to comment, and no official details regarding Lee’s reported release have been publicly confirmed.
