Beverley Callard Shares Health Update Amid Breast Cancer Treatment

Beverley Callard has shared an emotional health update with fans after doctors discovered a cyst behind her knee.

The Coronation Street star, 69, revealed she had sought medical help after suffering persistent leg pain. Speaking in a candid Instagram video, Beverley said she was relieved to learn it was not a blood clot after undergoing an ultrasound and several tests.

Doctors told her the cyst was “quite common,” and Beverley admitted she had panicked before getting the results.

The update comes as the actress continues her breast cancer treatment journey. She explained that she will undergo 10 days of treatment, with five consecutive days of radiotherapy, a weekend break, and then another five sessions.

Beverley also revealed she is waiting for a body scan and mapping appointment before her treatment officially begins.Returning from the hospital she said: 'Well, I'm back home now after my visit to St. Luke's to see the radiotherapist. The actress previously shared that delays had occurred after moving from England to Ireland, as her medical records took time to transfer. Doctors were reportedly concerned that her radiotherapy should have started sooner.

Despite the uncertainty, Beverley told fans she is moving forward and hopes to begin treatment as soon as possible.
