Jesy Nelson has shared an emotional family milestone after her 11-month-old daughter Story Monroe said “Muma” for the first time.
The former Little Mix star posted the touching moment on Instagram, telling fans: “Story said Muma for the first time, my life is complete.”
The sweet clip comes during a challenging period for Jesy and her family after her twin daughters, Story and Ocean Jade, were diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy, a rare condition that affects muscle strength and movement.
Jesy has been open about the emotional journey, from hospital appointments to daily care, while also sharing small moments of joy with her daughters.
She has also used her platform to raise awareness of SMA and support calls for newborn screening across England.
For Jesy, Story’s first word was more than a milestone. It was a precious moment of hope, love and happiness after months of uncertainty.
