💔 Coronation Street star Tracy Shaw has shared a worrying health update after revealing she has been treated for an infection in her blood during her breast cancer battle.
The actress, best known for playing Maxine Peacock in the ITV soap, first told fans in April that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Because of that, she explained, they were treating it aggressively with powerful antibiotics.
She said she was still on a drip and would be returning to hospital for another dose.

She said the marks appeared to look like something from the “pox family,” adding that she had previously had chickenpox and measles.
Tracy wondered whether something may be circulating in the area and whether her immune system, weakened by treatment, had made her more vulnerable.
She said she hoped whatever doctors discovered might eventually help someone else receive the right medicine and recover.
