Karoline Leavitt has given followers another tender glimpse into life at home with her newborn daughter.
The White House press secretary, 28, shared sweet new photos from inside baby Viviana’s pink nursery as her little girl marked one month since birth.
And away from the podium, cameras and daily pressure of Washington, the images showed a much softer side of Karoline’s world.
A mother cradling her baby.
A newborn wrapped in pink.
A family slowly adjusting to life with two little children.

Karoline and her husband, Nicholas Riccio, welcomed Viviana on May 1. The baby girl, affectionately nicknamed Vivi, is the couple’s second child. They are also parents to son Niko, who is now stepping into his new role as big brother.
In one mirror selfie, Karoline smiled as she held Vivi close inside the soft pink nursery. The room, filled with gentle colours and baby details, looked calm, cosy and deeply feminine.
She captioned the moment: “One month of Vivi,” adding a pink heart.
It was simple, but for any parent, the emotion was easy to understand.

That first month with a newborn is a blur of feeding, changing, cuddling, broken sleep and staring at a tiny face that somehow already feels like the centre of the whole world.
For Karoline, who has spent much of her professional life in one of the most high-pressure jobs in American politics, these quiet days at home seem especially precious.
She previously said her family was enjoying its newborn bubble after Vivi’s arrival, and the latest photos made that clear.
There was no formal briefing room energy.
No sharp answers.
No political headlines.

Just a young mother soaking up the first weeks with her daughter.
Karoline also shared a Mother’s Day photo with her own mum, adding another layer of emotion to the family update. After giving birth again, the meaning of motherhood appears to be surrounding her from every direction — as a daughter, as a mother of a toddler, and now as a mother of a newborn baby girl.
But the update was not only about baby photos.
Karoline also gave followers a peek at her kitchen life during maternity leave, sharing some of the dishes she has been making at home.

After receiving requests for her salad recipe, she posted the ingredients: romaine lettuce, spinach, watermelon, cucumber, almonds, dried cranberries and feta cheese.
For the dressing, she kept it simple with olive oil and fresh lemon squeezed over the top.
Fresh, colourful and easy — exactly the kind of meal many busy mums reach for when life with a newborn does not leave much room for complicated cooking.
She also shared a sweet potato casserole topped with marshmallows, revealing that it is one of her favourite dishes — and her son Niko’s favourite too.
That small detail made the post feel even more relatable.
Because while Vivi may be the newest star of the family, Niko is still very much part of the story.
For parents welcoming a second child, one of the biggest emotional adjustments is making sure the older child still feels seen. The baby needs so much attention, but the toddler still wants snacks, cuddles, games and their favourite food.

Karoline’s casserole post quietly captured that balance.
Newborn cuddles for Vivi.
Comfort food for Niko.
And a mother trying to enjoy all of it while she can.
Karoline announced her pregnancy in December 2025, calling her baby girl “the greatest Christmas gift” and saying her heart was full as her family prepared to grow. She also expressed gratitude for what she described as a pro-family environment at the White House.
Her maternity leave has drawn attention because of her demanding role and because she returned to work extremely quickly after giving birth to Niko. This time, she has not confirmed exactly how long she will stay away from the podium.
But for now, her latest posts suggest she is focused on home.
Baby snuggles.
Nursery selfies.
Mother’s Day memories.
Fresh salads.
Sweet potato casserole.
And one month of little Vivi.
It is a gentler image than the public usually sees from Karoline Leavitt, but that is what makes it resonate.
Behind the job title is a mother in the middle of one of life’s most exhausting and beautiful seasons.
The newborn days do not last long.
The babies change quickly.
The tiny clothes stop fitting.
The sleepy cuddles become memories.
And for now, Karoline seems determined to hold onto every small, sweet moment before real life speeds up again.
For all the noise around Washington, her latest update was wonderfully simple.
A baby girl is one month old.
A big brother has a favourite casserole.
And a mum is grateful to be home with her children. 💕
