Megan McKenna has surprised fans by revealing she and husband Oliver Burke actually had a private wedding ceremony before their lavish celebration last year.
The former TOWIE star, 33, married the footballer in June 2025 at the luxury Grantley Hall in North Yorkshire. But Megan has now shared that, before walking down the aisle at their grand wedding, the couple exchanged vows in a far more intimate Church of England ceremony.
Posting emotional photos online, Megan showed herself in a stunning white satin bridal gown while holding a beautiful bouquet made by her mother, Tanya. The arrangement was inspired by Princess Diana’s classic bridal style.
Only their closest witnesses were present for the quiet ceremony, making the moment deeply personal before the couple’s bigger wedding days later.
Megan also shared touching memories of her baby son Landon, including a photo of herself holding him and another of her breastfeeding him in the car before the church vows.
In her caption, Megan explained that the private ceremony took place before their official wedding anniversary on June 7, adding that the day felt incredibly special.
She wrote that Landon was still tiny at the time and described the memory as one of “the best times”.
The emotional post comes after Megan recently opened up about how she really met Oliver. Although she previously said they met through mutual friends, she has now admitted they first connected on the celebrity dating app Raya.
Megan joked that she got “lucky” meeting Oliver at the perfect time, before revealing that their first date in Mayfair quickly became romantic after she dared him to kiss her during a game of truth or dare.
Since then, the couple’s relationship has gone from strength to strength — from a romantic proposal in Montenegro to marriage, matching tattoos and welcoming their son Landon.
Now living together in Germany as a family, Megan and Oliver’s love story has taken another sweet turn with the reveal of their secret first “I do”.
