Kylie Minogue has marked her 58th birthday in style — while also celebrating a hugely successful year for her wine brand.
The pop icon enjoyed a birthday dinner, cocktails and a chocolate cake as fans flooded her social media with warm messages.
But the celebrations came with another reason to raise a glass. Her business, Kylie Minogue Wines, which launched in 2020, has now sold 27 million bottles worldwide.
Her Signature Rosé has become the UK’s No.1 premium branded rosé, while her Prosecco Rosé is also leading its category with a strong market share.
Kylie has previously revealed that her personal favourite from the range is the zero per cent alcohol rosé, after cutting back on drinking due to her busy schedule.
The singer has also been in a reflective mood following the release of her three-part Netflix documentary, Kylie, which looks back at her life, family and extraordinary career.
Thanking fans on Instagram, she said the documentary reminded her where she came from and why she continues to do what she does.
Kylie, who first became famous as Charlene in Neighbours before becoming one of pop’s biggest stars, also opened up recently about privately facing breast cancer again in 2021.
She said she kept the experience to herself at the time, admitting she felt like “a shell of a person,” but added that she has now come through it and is doing well.
Despite approaching her sixth decade, Kylie has no plans to slow down. Inspired by icons like Cher, she hopes to keep performing and creating for many years to come.
