Gemma Collins has never been shy about celebrating her success — and now she has made one of her boldest claims yet.
The former TOWIE star, 45, took to Instagram on Friday in a white floral mini dress, telling fans to “just Google my name, hun” as she appeared to boast about earning more than Prime Minister Keir Starmer.
According to the post she shared, Gemma can reportedly command up to £75,000 for a single sponsored Instagram post, with her income boosted by fashion ventures, fragrance deals, brand partnerships and television appearances. Reports also place her estimated net worth at around £3 million to £4 million.
By comparison, Keir Starmer’s salary as Prime Minister is generally reported to sit in the high-£160,000s to mid-£170,000s range, depending on how the entitlement is calculated.
For Gemma, the message was clear: reality TV fame can be big business.
The TV personality has built a career far beyond her early days on The Only Way Is Essex, turning her larger-than-life personality into a brand of its own. From social media endorsements to fashion launches and high-profile reality appearances, she has remained one of Britain’s most recognisable reality stars.
Her latest post comes after Gemma opened up about her weight-loss journey, revealing she had used Ozempic before stopping due to side effects. She described the early stage of taking the drug as “liberating” because it curbed her appetite, but later suffered a painful gallbladder attack.
Despite ending the treatment, Gemma said she has still lost around 3.4 stone and has spoken openly about trying countless diets over the years.
She also recently returned to I’m A Celebrity All Stars, filmed in South Africa, where she said she lost 1st 4lb after surviving on rice and beans. Gemma described the jungle experience as a powerful “digital detox” and said it changed her relationship with her phone.
But even with health battles, public criticism and years in the spotlight, Gemma appears more confident than ever.
Her latest boast may raise eyebrows — but for the GC, it is another reminder that she has turned fame, personality and self-belief into a money-making empire.
