Jake Quickenden Enjoys Family Day Out With Children Following Split From Sophie Church
Jake Quickenden has been seen enjoying a cheerful family day out with his children following his recent split from wife Sophie Church.
The former I’m A Celebrity and The X Factor star, 36, appeared to be focusing on family life as he spent the Bank Holiday weekend with his sons Leo, five, and Kit, 16 months, as well as Freddie, 10, Sophie’s son from a previous relationship.
The outing came shortly after it was confirmed that Jake and Sophie had separated after growing apart. The couple, who began dating in 2018 and married in 2022, are said to remain on good terms, with their children now firmly at the centre of their priorities.
In pictures shared on Instagram, Jake looked relaxed and happy as he took the children to a funfair and water park. The family posed smiling in front of fairground stalls, while Jake was also seen riding a carousel with his youngest son Kit in his arms.
The children appeared to enjoy a busy day of games and rides, with one sweet image showing little Kit playing at a hook-a-duck stall. The family also seemed to make the most of the warm weekend weather, spending time together in a small pool.
Fans were quick to praise Jake for creating happy memories with the children during what has clearly been a difficult personal period. One follower wrote that it looked like he had enjoyed “a wonderful day” with his boys, while another called him “a great dad”.
Jake recently addressed the split in a brief but heartfelt response to a fan who praised both him and Sophie as loving parents. The fan wrote that whatever was happening, the children had parents who loved them deeply.
Jake replied: “I appreciate that, they’re all that matter.”
A source close to the former couple previously said Jake and Sophie had held “long and honest conversations” after realising they had drifted apart over time. Although their romantic relationship has ended, they are reportedly committed to maintaining a supportive family environment and co-parenting positively.
Sophie, a social media influencer, and Jake got engaged in Rhodes, Greece, three years after they began dating. Their separation marks the end of a significant chapter, but both are understood to be focused on keeping family life as stable and loving as possible.
For Jake, the recent family outing appeared to show exactly that — a father putting his children first, making memories, and finding moments of joy amid a major life change.
