Adam Woodward, the 33-year-old former Hollyoaks star, has delighted fans by announcing that he and his partner are expecting their first child. Best known for his portrayal of Brody Hudson on Channel 4’s long-running soap, Woodward shared the exciting news via Instagram on Sunday, posting a black-and-white ultrasound image to reveal the baby is due in August 2026.
“Officially, Baby Woodward is arriving in August 2026,” he captioned the post. In a touching display of anticipation, the actor included a second image showing him kneeling and kissing his partner’s growing baby bump, adding the caption: “The cool ones are coming.”
