Wicked star Cynthia, 39, currently dazzling audiences in her West End one-woman show Dracula, was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for her outstanding contributions to music and drama. Trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Cynthia has achieved critical acclaim for her powerful performances, most notably as Elphaba in the two-part film adaptation of Wicked alongside Ariana Grande. Speaking last December, Cynthia expressed her gratitude, telling the Press Association:

“To be given this recognition to celebrate the work that I love to do within the arts, specifically music and drama, is an honour I could never have imagined. Also honoured at the ceremony was darts prodigy Luke Littler, who became the youngest world champion in history at just 17 years and 347 days.
