Jeremy Clarkson has revealed a sobering health scare as he prepares for the fifth series of Clarkson’s Farm on Amazon Prime. The 66-year-old TV personality reflected on his own mortality after being rushed to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in 2024, following excruciating chest pains. Doctors discovered one of his arteries was “completely blocked,” and he underwent a stent procedure to restore blood flow.
In the first trailer for series five, Clarkson explains to farmhand Kaleb Cooper: “You’ve got three arteries in your heart… my heart wasn’t getting any blood.” Despite doctors urging him to take a break, Clarkson pushes forward, tackling wayward sheep, a driverless tractor, and travellers disrupting his local pub.
The upcoming series, premiering June 3, follows Clarkson’s chaotic adventures on Diddly Squat Farm, including a hi-tech trip to the Netherlands, the introduction of a new flock of “Easy Care” sheep, and a festive season full of challenges. Kaleb even chooses to finish ploughing a field before joining his wife-to-be in hospital, leaving Clarkson astonished.
Amazon Prime confirmed episodes one to four will drop on June 3, with episodes five and six on June 10, and the final two instalments on June 17. Fans can expect a mix of heartfelt moments, slapstick farm mishaps, and Clarkson’s signature humor, all while he navigates recovery from a life-threatening heart event.

Series five promises tense, unpredictable, and laugh-out-loud moments as Clarkson balances health concerns, modern farm technology, and the ups and downs of life in the Cotswolds.
