The 34-year-old artist shared intimate glimpses of the day on social media, including a video reflecting on her first year as a mother to children diagnosed with spinal muscular atrophy type 1 (SMA1), a rare genetic condition causing progressive muscle weakness and movement difficulties. Over a soft piano soundtrack, Jesy recited a touching poem highlighting the contrast between the parenthood she imagined and the reality she has embraced.
Jesy described her daughters as “tiny superheroes” and “the strongest, most resilient little warriors” she has ever known.
