Katie Price Denies Claims Husband Lee Andrews Was Detained in Dubai After Airport No-Show

Katie Price has denied claims that her husband, Lee Andrews, was detained at Dubai airport during a chaotic interview on Good Morning Britain (GMB) today.

Katie, 44, appeared on the ITV breakfast show alone, revealing that Lee had “missed his flight” and was not able to make it to the UK for their scheduled appearance. The couple had planned to be on the show together, but Lee’s absence sparked speculation that he might be facing a travel ban, as he currently resides in Dubai.Katie and Susanna speaking on Good Morning Britain

An exasperated Susanna Reid, one of the hosts, told viewers: “Katie and her husband Lee were booked to appear, and up until yesterday, that was still the plan.” She also mentioned that the GMB team had contacted the Foreign Office to confirm whether Lee had been detained, only to be told that they had supported a British man detained in the UAE.

When asked if Lee had been arrested, Katie quickly responded, “No, I feel like they just said it to me in there [backstage], so I just said to Lee, apparently a British man has been detained, can you confirm it’s not you?” She said Lee replied with a voice note laughing and assuring her it wasn’t him. “He’s at the airport, and he’s on his way,” Katie insisted.

Katie explained further that Lee had been in Dubai, dealing with business matters, and missed his flight due to “things he had to do.” She also mentioned that Lee was in the process of sorting out her visa and international driving license for his upcoming stay in the UK.Katie Price and Lee Andrews

Despite Katie’s assurances, questions about Lee’s reliability and whether he was fully truthful persisted. Susanna commented, “What I love about you, Katie, is that you’re very open, but I just wonder if he’s telling you everything.”

Katie then responded, “I know no one believes me, your face says it all, Susanna. I can’t keep flying to Dubai because I’ve got work and my kids here. He’s shifting over here now, and I said, ‘I keep flying to you, you’ve got to come to England.’”

The discussion grew more intense when the Foreign Office was mentioned again. Katie said it didn’t raise any concerns for her, continuing to defend Lee, saying, “He wouldn’t have his phone, he wouldn’t be at the airport, so it’s definitely not Lee.”

Speculation continues around Lee’s ability to travel due to an alleged travel ban. It has been claimed that Lee might be unable to leave Dubai after allegedly forging his ex-girlfriend’s signature to secure a £200,000 loan—a claim he has strongly denied.

While Lee’s absence remains unexplained, Katie remains adamant that he’s on his way to the UK to spend “quite a few months” there. However, just hours before the interview, Lee shared a video thanking the GMB team for the invite, admitting that he couldn’t make it this time.Katie appeared on Good Morning Britain today

Katie also hinted that Lee’s travel situation has been a point of contention before, saying on her podcast with her sister Sophie that “everyone has said to me you can get a travel ban over anything in Dubai.”

Despite the drama surrounding Lee’s travel issues and his absence from GMB, Katie remains committed to their relationship. She emphasized that she couldn’t move to Dubai permanently due to her responsibilities in the UK, but the couple is working on plans to spend more time together in England.
