Charlotte Dawson, the 32-year-old reality star, has opened up about the possibility of expanding her family, admitting that despite her already busy life with three young children, she’s not ready to rule out having more kids with her fiancé, Matt Sarsfield. Charlotte, who shares Noah (4), Jude (2), and six-month-old Gigi with Matt, revealed that while juggling life with three little ones is exhausting, the joy of motherhood keeps her dreaming of more little ones.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Charlotte admitted that her life is already chaotic, but her love for children might lead her to have more in the future. “I say this is my last baby but never say never. I love babies. I love being a mum. It’s tough, but it’s the best,” she confessed.
As a proud mother, Charlotte often shares moments from her children’s milestones with her fans, from Noah starting primary school to Jude moving up a class at nursery and Gigi beginning the weaning process. Charlotte is also on her own personal journey of losing her baby weight, participating in a weight loss programme while balancing family life.
However, despite her busy household, Charlotte has hinted at the possibility of adding to her growing brood. “Never say never,” she explained with a smile, revealing her fondness for having a large family, just like her late father, comedian Les Dawson.
In her recent interview, Charlotte also opened up about how her relationship with Matt has taken a backseat with the demands of family life. “We’ve had no date nights recently,” Charlotte admitted. “We do need to prioritise us a bit more because we just haven’t for a while. It’s all about the kids right now.” Despite the challenges, she remains confident that once they establish a routine, their bond will grow even stronger. “We’ve been through a lot, but we’re strong. Once we’ve got that routine down, watch out – the fireworks will firework!”
The couple, who have been through their share of ups and downs, have also been dealing with financial struggles. Their business, Dawsylicious, went into liquidation earlier this year, facing a £88,000 tax bill and a £73,300 deficit. Despite the financial strain, Charlotte remains optimistic, focusing on her family and future.
In addition to their financial setbacks, the couple has worked hard to rebuild their relationship after Matt’s affair was publicly exposed. The former rugby player was caught sexting another woman, and in a public interview on Charlotte’s podcast The Naughty Corner, he tearfully admitted his regret. “He really broke down on it as well, which obviously I didn’t expect,” Charlotte shared. “It was brave for him to do that because he’s not like that at all.”
Charlotte emphasized that sharing their struggles publicly was important for them as a couple, and also for other couples going through similar challenges. “Not every day, there’s ups and downs, and people don’t talk about it. Some people don’t like to show that there are actually problems in a relationship. And there is, you know what I mean?”
The couple continues to work through their issues, confident that they can make their relationship stronger. Charlotte believes their decision to address their struggles openly will not only help their family but also others who may be facing similar difficulties. “I think it was the best thing for us, and hopefully it helped other couples going through it because they do go through it,” she said. “It’s not all happy times, is it?”
As Charlotte’s family continues to grow, fans will be watching closely to see whether she and Matt decide to expand their family further, or if they’ll focus on their relationship and personal journeys.
