Claudia Fogarty, the Love Island star who gained popularity in 2023, has revealed a heart-wrenching experience after rushing her seven-month-old daughter, Delilah, to the emergency room due to concerning breathing issues. The 31-year-old mother described the terrifying moment when her daughter’s breathing sounded “like a broken penguin from Toy Story” and was left in distress, prompting a three-hour wait at the hospital.
In an emotional Instagram post, Claudia shared a black-and-white photo of Delilah sleeping in her arms in the waiting room. She wrote: “Delilah’s been ill for the past few days. Parenting is so scary, not knowing what to do and when to get help.”
The reality star continued, “We decided to take her to A&E, where we waited for three hours, only to be told she’s okay and likely just suffering from laryngitis. I knew she was fine, but the strange sounds she was making while breathing terrified me.”
Laryngitis, an illness commonly seen in children, can cause a barking cough and, in some cases, breathing difficulties. Claudia went on to reassure her followers, saying, “But the most important thing is that she’s completely healthy, we were just being worried parents.”
The star, who is the daughter of motorcycle legend Carl Fogarty, expressed gratitude for the medical staff at the hospital, and her post resonated deeply with her fans, many of whom shared their own parenting experiences.
