David Haye has unleashed a fresh tirade against I’m A Celeb co-star Adam Thomas, accusing him of “b****ing and whining” following their tumultuous time in the South African jungle. The former boxer took to Instagram to share his thoughts, calling out Adam and his brothers, Ryan and Scott, for their “soft” approach to the show’s aftermath.
In his video post, David stated: “Whilst reflecting in the stunning @sunvalleycyprus resort, I wanted to respond to Adam Thomas’s podcast,” explaining he had taken the time to listen to Adam’s latest remarks on his podcast. He continued, mocking Adam for his emotional reaction to the friendly banter they had exchanged during their time on the show. David revealed, “It’s enlightening to hear how Adam has processed his victory on I’m A Celeb, especially after I gave him a little bit of friendly banter. Of course, after that, he started crying and moaning, turning himself into the victim. I don’t think he’s used to guys who actually engage in real banter, where you build resilience to jibes.”
David expressed disbelief at Adam’s response to such light-hearted ribbing, stating: “He nearly had an emotional breakdown over it. It was just some banter, but it was too much for him. The volume of banter he received was so much less than what he dished out, yet he couldn’t handle it.”
Continuing his critique, David explained that “real guys” engage in banter without taking offense, and he compared his approach to Adam’s “softness,” pointing out how society today seems to reward weakness. He added: “The softer and weaker you are, the more validation you get from the masses. But I’m not interested in that. I’m here for the 15-20% of people who get where I’m coming from.”
Adam’s podcast had seen him reflect on his I’m A Celeb journey, particularly on his win, and David was quick to point out what he saw as a lack of resilience in his fellow contestant. “He’s nearly 40 years old and he’s moaning about winning a TV competition. You got £100,000 for charity, more money in a day than most people make in a year, and ITV will throw all sorts of opportunities your way. Yet here you are complaining about it.”
David concluded with a parting shot at Adam, humorously mocking his emotional reaction to the show. “Mr. Flaccid, that’s your angle. Keep giving the people your soft energy. Some people like that, but there’s a lot who want a bit more firmness, just saying.”
The ongoing fallout from the I’m A Celeb All-Stars season has sparked intense reactions, with fans accusing David of bullying Adam. Following the chaotic live finale, which saw tensions between the contestants spill over, ITV was forced to defend its editing choices, particularly regarding a confrontation between Adam and Jimmy Bullard. David and Jimmy were both seen being escorted out of the studios after their claims that certain clips, including Adam using offensive language, were deliberately edited out.
As the feud intensifies, David Haye is reportedly considering legal action against ITV, claiming that the network’s portrayal of him in the show has caused “irreparable damage” to his brand. He is rumored to be seeking up to £10 million in damages.
While David’s comments have divided viewers, with some supporting his stance and others accusing him of crossing the line, one thing is clear: the drama from the I’m A Celeb All-Stars season is far from over. As David continues to voice his frustrations, it seems the rivalry between him and Adam Thomas is only going to get more heated.
