The television personality and former model, 38, finalised her divorce from the former Top Gear presenter, 52, in 2024. The pair, who announced their separation in 2022, continue to live together in their Cheshire family home while co-parenting their three children.

Speaking on the podcast It Started With A Kiss, Christine opened up about dating women, rebuilding her confidence and adjusting to life after the breakdown of her marriage.

She said Paddy has been supportive of her choices and suggested the pair are able to speak openly about her dating life. Christine also said she hopes one day to have a wife, though she made clear she is not looking for another legal marriage.

“I would love to have a wife one day,” she said, describing the idea as more of a celebration of love than a formal marriage.

Christine explained that she enjoys having a separate life outside the family home, particularly when travelling to London for work and social events. She said this allows her to maintain privacy while avoiding introducing new people to her children too quickly.

The mother of three also said she is not rushing into anything serious. Instead, she is taking time to understand what she wants from future relationships.

Christine first publicly discussed her interest in dating both men and women after appearing on E4’s Celebs Go Dating. Since then, she has spoken more openly about her sexuality and her journey of self-discovery.

She has also linked this personal transformation to her late autism diagnosis, which she explored in the BBC documentary Unmasking My Autism. Christine said the diagnosis helped her better understand herself and gave her the courage to acknowledge that her marriage was no longer making her happy.

Christine and Paddy met in 2007 at the Liverpool International Tennis Tournament and married in Cheshire in 2011. They later announced their separation in a joint statement, saying their priority would remain loving and supporting their children.

Despite their split, Christine said neither she nor Paddy is rushing to move on in a way that could disrupt family life. She added that their conversations remain largely focused on their children, though they are able to laugh and communicate openly.

Her latest interview offers a revealing look at a woman navigating divorce, motherhood and identity in the public eye — while attempting to protect her family and embrace a more independent future.
