Scarlett Moffatt Announces Pregnancy with Second Child: “A Miracle Is on the Way!”

Scarlett Moffatt, the former Gogglebox star and I’m A Celebrity winner, has revealed that she is expecting her second child with fiancé Scott Dobinson. The 35-year-old television personality shared the joyous news on Instagram Monday evening, calling the pregnancy “another miracle” for the couple.

In an adorable video posted alongside her announcement, Scarlett’s 2-year-old son, Jude, is seen holding a specially designed newspaper with the headline: “Baby Dobinson, another miracle on the way!”

The couple, who have kept much of their personal life private, wrote in the Instagram post, “Honestly, we can’t believe we’re writing this. After everything, we feel so lucky to say… our family is growing.” They added, “A little miracle brought Jude to us, and now he’s going to be the best big brother.”

This exciting announcement comes after a difficult journey for Scarlett and Scott, who struggled with infertility for four years before welcoming Jude in June 2023. Scarlett has been candid about her previous miscarriage in late 2024, which she discussed during her I’m A Celebrity… South Africa appearance.

She opened up to fellow campmates, sharing the heartbreaking experience of trying for another child after Jude’s birth and ultimately losing the pregnancy. “After Jude was born, we tried again and progressed quite far, but then I miscarried,” she recalled. “I remember Scott’s parents taking Jude for the day while Scott and I just lay in bed crying. It was awful.”

Scarlett described the pain of losing a baby as devastating, explaining, “It’s the grief of losing a life you’d already imagined. We pictured our children running down the stairs together at Christmas.”

The miscarriage led Scarlett to question herself, expressing, “When all you want is a family, it’s tough when it doesn’t come easily. You ask yourself, why isn’t it happening? Will it ever happen?”

Despite these emotional challenges, Scarlett revealed that the experience made their bond stronger. “I said to Scott that I just couldn’t take any more heartache, and suggested we stop trying completely,” she reflected. “I think it’s brave when people keep pushing through, because it really breaks your soul.”

As the couple looks forward to the arrival of their second child, their social media followers flooded the comments with well-wishes. Celebrities such as Gemma Collins, Ashley Roberts, Dianne Buswell, and Helen Flanagan all shared their joy and congratulated the couple.

Scarlett first rose to fame when she appeared alongside her family on Gogglebox before winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! in 2016. Since then, she has returned to the I’m A Celebrity jungle for the South Africa All Stars series, where she’s joined by stars like Sir Mo Farah, Beverley Callard, and Harry Redknapp.
