Gemma Collins Defends Adam Thomas Amidst Controversy with David Haye on I’m A Celebrity
Gemma Collins has come to the defense of her close friend Adam Thomas as tensions continue to rise between him and David Haye on I’m A Celebrity South Africa. In an appearance on I’m A Celebrity: Unpacked, Collins shared her concerns about Haye’s treatment of Thomas, claiming that she often felt the need to “protect” him during their time in the camp.

Collins, 42, expressed her belief that Haye, 45, may have seen a vulnerability in Adam, and she didn’t hesitate to step in when things got heated. “If I feel it’s too much, I’ll step in,” Collins stated, adding that she was ready to call on David to help resolve things if necessary.
The clash between Haye and Thomas came to a head last week when Adam, who suffers from psoriatic arthritis, opted out of a Bushtucker Trial due to illness and dehydration. Haye responded harshly, calling Adam “useless” and questioning why he was receiving special treatment, which sparked accusations of bullying from viewers.
Despite the ongoing tensions, Collins, who has openly supported Thomas on social media, urged fans to back Adam during the live final. “Adam called me this morning feeling really upset, but he’s a hero,” she wrote on Instagram. “Goodness will always triumph.”

As the final approaches, Thomas, who has shared that he sought psychological therapy following his I’m A Celeb experience, is gearing up for his last stand against fellow finalists Mo Farah, Craig Charles, Scarlett Moffatt, and Harry Redknapp. Fans will be watching to see if Adam can overcome the “strong headwinds” and make it to the top in tonight’s live finale.
