❤️ Reuben Owen and girlfriend Jess Ellwood have taken a huge step in their young romance after moving in together at just 22 — and their new life on a Cumbrian farm is already filled with love, laughter and one very adorable lamb.
The Our Yorkshire Farm favourite, who now stars in Reuben Owen: Life in the Dales, has quietly settled into life with Jess on her family farm, where early mornings, muddy boots and endless lambing duties have become part of their everyday routine 🐑✨
And while some young couples mark moving in together with furniture shopping or romantic date nights, Reuben and Jess have already added a very special new member to their household — a tiny three-week-old lamb called Fluff.
The little lamb had a heartbreaking start after breaking her leg when her mother accidentally stepped on her. But instead of being left behind, Fluff has now been adopted permanently by the couple, who say she will live with them forever.
Jess proudly introduced the lamb to fans, saying: “We have a new pet. This is Fluff. She’s quite precious.”
She admitted lambing can be emotionally tough because “lots can go wrong,” but it is clear Fluff has brought a huge amount of joy into their home.
“She’s going to be our pet sheep now,” Jess laughed. “She’ll live with us forever. She’s even been in the house, sleeping on a blanket.” ❤️
Reuben appears just as smitten with the tiny lamb, joking that Fluff feels more like a child than a pet.
“She’s so cute,” he said. “When she sees Jess, her little face absolutely lights up. She’s starting to get to know her name now too.”

The couple first met at a Young Farmers convention in 2024 before going public with their relationship later that year. What began as late-night visits to see Jess slowly turned into something much more serious.
Reuben admitted their romance crept forward in the most natural way possible.
“I used to come down at night to see Jess and I just wouldn’t want to leave,” he shared. “It started with a toothbrush, and now my pants are in the washing machine and my dinner is on the table. Now I’m all in.” 😭

But despite their growing television profile, Reuben and Jess insist their daily life is far from glamorous.
